Operating within a complex, global matrix environment, your mission is to optimize life-cycle costs while securing absolute supply continuity. You will act as a senior commercial lead, bridging the gap between engineering requirements and global supplier capabilities to ensure Siemens Energy maintains its competitive edge in the energy transition.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Sourcing: Lead high-stakes sourcing activities and develop robust long-term supplier strategies to support industrial and aerospace work-scopes.
  • Commercial Negotiation: Drive complex price negotiations and manage contract lifecycles to mitigate commercial risk and maximize value.
  • Cost Value Engineering: Conduct in-depth cost breakdown analysis and apply "Cost Value Engineering" principles to identify saving opportunities without compromising quality.
  • Supplier Management: Proactively source and manage a global portfolio of strategic suppliers, ensuring performance alignment with Siemens Energy’s operational goals.
  • Cross-Functional Liaison: Manage senior stakeholders across a global matrix organization, aligning procurement strategies with wider project and engineering milestones.

Key Skills and experience required:

  • Industry Expertise: A minimum of 12 years of experience in strategic procurement, specifically within the Aerospace or Automotive sectors.
  • Contract & Risk Mastery: Proven track record in high-level contract negotiation and comprehensive commercial risk management.
  • Strategic Planning: Demonstrated ability to create and execute 12-to-36-month strategic sourcing roadmaps.
  • Technical Literacy: Proficient in Cost Value Engineering (CVE) and conducting detailed cost-driver analyses.
  • Digital Proficiency: Intermediate Excel skills for data-driven decision-making and reporting.
