Randstad Sourceright is proud to support a global leader in infrastructure and construction in their search for a Digital Lead. This is a high-profile, 6-month maternity cover role based in Teesside, supporting one of the UK’s most significant "Net Zero" energy transition projects.

Job Role
You will be responsible for leading all aspects of digitisation and systems on a major flagship scheme. Your goal is to foster a culture where productive and predictable delivery is underpinned by real-time data availability.
The role is responsible for:
- Digital Architecture: Lead the identification, configuration, deployment, and training of digital systems across the project lifecycle.
- Process Transformation: Identify opportunities to remove manual and paper-based processes, ensuring all workflows are "leaned" and ready for digitisation.
- Data-Led Delivery: Enable a data-driven approach to monthly cost and earned value processes, ensuring data is available at daily, weekly, and monthly levels.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the key interface between Project Leadership, IT teams, Subcontractors, and the Client to ensure requirements are met and integrated.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all digital initiatives adhere to corporate IT standards and Information Security, maintaining a relentless focus on "Zero Harm."
Requirements for the role:
- Industry Experience: Recognised experience within the construction or large-scale infrastructure sector is essential.
- Digital Leadership: Proven record of leading digital software applications and the ability to train/upskill diverse project teams.
- Collaboration: Excellent communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships with supply chain partners and clients under time pressure.
- Technical Proficiency: High level of IT literacy with experience in multiple digital processes on previous large-scale schemes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Project Management certification (e.g., PRINCE2 or APMP).
- Full lifecycle understanding of Design, Construction, and Asset Management stages.
- Ability to mentor team members in advanced digital techniques.
