Randstad Sourceright, a leading provider of RPO & MSP Recruitment Services is currently recruiting for a Sampling & Field Marketing Executive to work for a market leader in the food sector.

The Role:

This Marketing Executive role is a field-based, high-impact brand activation and team leadership position responsible for driving large-scale consumer sampling targets.

It primarily involves leading and managing a national team of up to ten Brand Ambassadors, handling all operational logistics from scheduling and stock management to executing strategic in-person events (e.g., street blitzes, trade shows, in-store sampling).

The role requires high mobility and strong coordination skills, operating across the UK and Ireland, with a secondary responsibility for supporting digital marketing and social media content creation. You are the crucial link between the central marketing strategy and direct consumer engagement, aiming to significantly exceed the annual consumer sampling goal.

Responsibilities:

Field Marketing & Sampling

  • Plan and execute all direct and indirect sampling activities - including demos, proximity sampling, and office outreach -in alignment with brand priorities and annual marketing plans.
  • Lead and manage the London Brand Ambassador team (~10 KBAs), overseeing onboarding, scheduling, engagement, and performance
  • Translate national brand activations into best-in-class city execution by collaborating closely with the Field Team and ensuring consistent, high-quality consumer experiences
  • Manage and track all sampling operations, including stock levels, POS materials, coupons, and equipment; oversee stock availability at the warehouse and lock-ups
  • Coordinate with the Field Sales team to plan and schedule quarterly blitzes across key UK cities, ensuring strong execution and alignment with commercial priorities
  • Assist with forecasting and budgeting for all field marketing and sampling initiatives
  • Support MP RoS initiatives, including coupon creation, tracking, and reporting; help unlock sampling partnerships aligned with target personas and priority focus areas
  • Ensure all field marketing and field sales content adheres to brand strategy, guardrails, and visual identity guidelines
  • Contribute to the development of the field marketing agenda, including expansion planning, insights capture, and integration of field learnings into sampling strategy
  • Support creation of social content, including filming and capturing field activities; assist with digital community management where relevant

 

Key Skills and experience required:

  • Ideal if you have either 1-2 years experience OR a university degree:  
    • The degree doesn't have to be in marketing, but you will need to have a passion for marketing. 
    • Experience and no degree - then you should have experience in some sort of field sales, field marketing, events, partnerships, brands type role.
  • You will be outgoing and confident to be able to; lead and rally the team, get the team and customers excited about the product. 
  • Minimum A-Level or equivalent standard education – GCSE’s in English and Maths required
  • Advanced usage of all Microsoft packages – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
