This pivotal role is your entry point into the high-growth world of enterprise technology. As an Intelligence & Development Specialist, you are the engine that fuels the revenue pipeline by ensuring the quality and accuracy of our market intelligence. You will not be focused on closing deals, but rather on laying the foundational groundwork that makes high-value sales opportunities possible.

 

Your mission is to act as a detective and strategist, discovering and validating the key individuals and decision-makers within target accounts. This role is essential for transforming raw market data into actionable intelligence, ensuring sales and marketing efforts are precisely targeted and highly effective. Some of the duties might include:

Intelligence Gathering & Validation

  • Detective Work: Meticulously research, validate, and confirm the roles and contact information of key personnel within complex buying groups.
  • Data Mastery: Utilize advanced contact databases, social media, and web research to identify new potential buyers and influencers.
  • System Integrity: Accurately log and track all validated intelligence in our CRM (Salesforce) to maintain a single source of truth.

Strategic Account Mapping

  • Architect of Opportunity: Build comprehensive account maps and structural intelligence of buying committees within selected enterprise accounts.
  • Persona Identification: Pinpoint the exact target personas and roles critical to the purchase decision process.
  • Insight Delivery: Deliver regular, high-impact updates on validated contacts and strategic buying group structures to the revenue teams.

Market Engagement Support

  • Pipeline Catalyst: Collaborate closely with marketing to drive attendance and execute vital follow-up for key programs and events.
  • Alignment Champion: Help ensure perfect synchronization between marketing campaigns, target accounts, and pre-sales opportunities.

Collaboration & Growth

  • Team Synergy: Partner seamlessly with our Revenue Development, Inside Sales, and Marketing teams to facilitate smooth, high-quality transitions of intelligence and opportunity.
  • Process Excellence: Adhere strictly to service-level agreements (SLAs), managing and tracking all intelligence discovery activities with discipline.



Required experience:

 

  • Some foundational experience in customer-facing roles, research, market analysis or pre-sales development
  • Exceptional research skills coupled with an unwavering attention to detail
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities
  • A naturally curious, self-starting mindset with the motivation and adaptability to consistently exceed key activity targets
