The Role

Are you a detail-oriented professional with a knack for keeping complex projects on track? Siemens Energy is looking for a proactive Project Coordinator to join our Aberdeen team for a 6-month period. You will act as a vital link between our Project Managers, internal stakeholders, and global clients, ensuring our energy projects are delivered with precision and commercial excellence.

This is more than just an admin role; it’s an opportunity to take ownership of small-scale projects and bridge the gap between logistics, finance, and operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Commercial & Client Liaison: Act as a client-facing representative, aligning regularly on delivery and commercial matters.
  • Project Support: Provide essential administrative, financial, and logistical support to Project Managers.
  • Financial Management: Prepare invoices, support financial reporting, and monitor work-in-progress against service orders.
  • System Management: Handle SAP tasks, manage purchase orders, and maintain meticulous project documentation.
  • Supply Chain Coordination: Assist in preparing customer quotations and ensuring the smooth progress of spare-part deliveries.
  • Reporting: Compile and issue timely project and customer reports to maintain transparency.
  • Growth Opportunity: Act as a nominated Project Manager for small internal or external projects as required.

What You Need to Qualify

To hit the ground running, we are looking for candidates who bring:

  • Experience: Previous background as a Project Administrator (highly desirable) within the Oil & Gas or wider Energy industry.
  • Technical Proficiency: Solid experience with SAP and ARIBA is essential; exposure to Salesforce is a significant advantage.
  • Organisational Flair: Exceptional time management skills and the ability to juggle documentation, financial data, and logistics.
  • Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset.
  • Independence: The ability to work proactively and drive project milestones without constant supervision.
