Randstad Sourceright, a leading provider of RPO & MSP Recruitment Services is currently recruiting for a Site Coordinator to work for Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy, a global leader in the wind power industry.

 

The Role:

As a Site Coordinator (SCO), you will manage the essential administrative operations on a construction site. Reporting functionally to Site Management and disciplinarily to the Back Office Operation Manager, you will act as the central point of contact for all stakeholders involved in the project execution. Your role is vital in ensuring the site runs efficiently, safely, and in compliance with company policies. 

Responsibilities:

  • Data Management & Reporting: Collect, verify, and consolidate data from multiple sources (such as Daily Progress Reports). Monitor and correct reports including time registrations, KPI reports, and crew change lists before distribution to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Logistics Coordination: Arrange transport and accommodation for site personnel. Organize crew changes by producing manifests based on manning plans, coordinating closely with Site Management and Marine Coordinators.
  • Site Reception & Administration: Act as the first point of contact for visitors and personnel. Manage the visitor log, answer phone calls, and execute general administrative activities to secure site efficiency.
  • Meeting Coordination: Organize and facilitate on-site meetings, including the preparation, distribution, and filing of meeting minutes.
  • Safety & Compliance: Comply with all Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) rules. Actively support safety through participation in toolbox talks and safety campaigns.
  • Resource Management: Track office supply stocks and place orders as necessary. Assist with PO creation and budget checking when required by the project.
  • Records Maintenance: Update and maintain databases regarding personnel data, certifications, and training qualifications to ensure site compliance.

 

Key Skills and experience required:

 

  • Administrative Expertise: Proven experience as an Office/Business Administrator or Assistant, ideally within a construction or renewable energy environment.
  • Communication: Advanced communication skills with the ability to work effectively in multicultural environments and interface with customers, subcontractors, and engineers.
  • IT Proficiency: Advanced skills in Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, OneDrive). Organization: Strong schedule management skills and a highly structured approach to workload.
  • Industry Knowledge: A keen interest or prior experience in the wind turbine or construction industry. 
  • Professionalism: Self-motivated, trustworthy, and quality-oriented. Ability to work as part of a team while maintaining a safety-first mindset.



Desirable Skills and Qualifications: 

 

  • Skills: Experience using SAP is desirable, but not essential. .
  • Qualifications: Secretarial studies or relevant administrative qualifications are advantageous. A Safety Passport (UK specific) may be required.
  • Industry: Familiarity with offshore wind procedures is an advantage.
