In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in optimising production planning, ensuring our innovative products are manufactured on time and to the highest standards. You'll be working with a small, collaborative team, engaging with engineering, tactical sourcing and production departments. This isn't just about following instructions; we're looking for someone who can bring a fresh perspective, use their initiative and contribute to the continuous improvement of our planning processes.

Key Responsibilities:

 

• Optimise production planning to ensure timely delivery of products
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Tactical Sourcing and Production
• Proactively identify and address potential issues or escalations regarding missing parts and production challenges
• Maintain accurate planning documentation and system entries
• Analyse data to inform planning decisions and improve efficiency

 

What We're Looking For:

 

• Previous experience in production planning (e.g., material resource planning, capacity planning)
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis, particularly using Excel
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate issues and solutions in team meetings
• A proactive and adaptable approach, with a desire to take initiative
• Experience with ERP software (SAP experience is ideal but not essential)
• A team player who is enthusiastic, passionate about learning and keen to grow within the role
